To the community,
GIVE ME A CHANCE, INC., a ministry of the Daughters of Charity, was looking forward to hosting its 4th annual Golf with The Bishop Tournament. Out of extreme concern for the health and well-being of all participants and volunteers, we had to make the difficult decision of postponing this event.
The tournament is one of two major fundraising events held during the year. If we were to postpone it until later this Summer, it would interfere with our other event slated for September. As you know, our fundraiser proceeds go directly to the programs for low-income women and children who are served at Give Me A Chance.
During this health crisis, the donations we receive are now more important than ever. It is our sincere hope that you may be able to make a donation so that our services may continue. If you were to donate the tournament fee of $75.00, it would mean that 100% of your donation would go directly to the Center. Any donation of this amount or any other amount would have the same goal…direct service (no expenses).
As we navigate this uncertain time, we will remember you in prayer. On behalf of the women and children who benefit from your generosity, we thank you for all your support! This includes prayers for us who lovingly serve God at Give Me A Chance.
-Sister Martha Garcia, DC, and the Golf Tournament Team
As the Golf Tournament one of our major fundraiser used to raise money for the Center, we are looking for other ways to stay sufficient and involved with the community. As of now, the Enchantment in the Summer Garden Dinner is still being held in September. If things change, we will keep everyone updated on our website as well as on our Facebook page. If you would like to support us during these difficult times, please consider donating! We hope that everyone is staying safe and well.
