Sewing Classes
Our Sewing & Quilting classes help women learn professional-level skills for use in the workplace by teaching them how to read & create patterns, alter clothing, use sewing machines, create clothing from scratch, and learn the art of quilting. We have Beginning & Advanced classes. Both groups meet one day a week, and students progress at their own pace.
Retail Sales & Customer Service
Clients of Give Me a Chance may be considered for positions at De Marillac Formal Attire where they learn a variety of skills. They also provide hands-on training opportunities for individuals trained in sewing and alterations through Give Me A Chance, Inc.
English as a Second Language
We offer classes in English As A Second Language (ESL) to women who are Non-English speaking or limited in speaking English.
