Arts for Spirituality:

Painting 2021

In this program, women and children can learn how to draw & paint using different techniques. Students will need to buy their own art supply. For clarification what specifically you need to have in supplies, please talk to Sister Lucia (contact information at bottom). Art supplies will be provided for the Summer Sessions.

Fall Schedule, Painting: (October 1st-December 11th)

Fridays from 11:00am-2:00pm, there will be multi-medium painting for children 15 years of age or older.

Fridays 3:00pm-7:00pm will be the "Painting the Invisible" groups. During the sessions, the groups will be having tea while painting with Sister Lucia. To book a date & time for a session, call (650) 605-5150.

Saturdays 2:15pm-4:00pm will be Painting for All, for children 10 years of age or older.


Instrumental Music: Piano or Guitar

Women & children are invited to learn how to play the piano or guitar. Pianos age starts at 8 years and older, while Guitar starts at 10 years and older. Students must have an instrument at home for at-home practice, and able to have class for 50 minutes a week.

Fall Schedule: Music classes are held Mondays 10:00am-5:00pm, Thursdays 3:00pm-5:00pm, and Saturdays 10:00am-2:00pm. Students or guardians will talk to Sister Lucia in order to schedule their class within these times.


In the Spiritual Journey Through Arts programs, you can:

  • Learn how to read, write, and play music

  • Express yourself with art, through prayer

  • Deepen your spirituality & peace of heart

  • Create marketable products


We are also looking for volunteers for the Arts for Spirituality program, to help in any of the following ways:

  • Musicians to assist with the music classes
  • Artists to help teach or assist in art sessions
  • Computer-savvy individuals to help edit images, create cards through programs, and help with prayer preparation

The Arts for Spirituality program would appreciate any donations of digital keyboards, digital pianos, nylon-string guitars, music books, and art supplies.

These classes are taught with the purpose behind it being to enrich the students' spirituality and develop their artistic interests.
