Last week, we held our Blessing of the Nativity event.
On Thursday at 5:00pm, members of the community joined us at the learning center, where students from our After-School program sang Christmas songs with the crowd. Once the singing was over, the students escorted everyone outside to the Our Lady of Guadalupe garden, where the nativity scene sat. Deacon Jack blessed the structure, and everyone marveled when the scene lit up. Afterwards, there was hot chocolate and treats to warm up with.
The nativity scene can be visited in our garden during our business hours, until it is taken down in January. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the event!
