Thank you to everyone that joined us on Monday, November 28th for the special lighting of the Nativity Display! The event started at 5:00pm, and was held in the Guadalupe Garden at the Give Me A Chance learning center on Grant Avenue.
The evening started with a welcome by Sister Martha in the learning center hall. She introduced everyone to the After-School program choir. Accompanied by Alice Cipollini, they sang Christmas hymns and led the guests out to the Nativity Display. Once at the Display, Sister Martha led the blessing and the lighting ceremony. Hot chocolate and cookies were served following the blessing.
We had an amazing turnout, larger than previous years. Thank you again to all in the community that came to witness the blessing. We hope the upcoming holidays are full of joy and kindness!
